The Baby Superstore is a concept developed by leading retailer, Yale Morgan. Yale Morgan has more than 15 years retailing experience having successfully run multiple Harvey Norman stores throughout Queensland and Perth.
In conjunction with his management team, Yale has trialled and developed the prototype store (Bundaberg in Queensland) and has now begun to rollout the concept on a region by region basis. In mid 2006, Robina on the Gold Coast was successfully established followed by Browns Plains in Brisbane. In December 2007 Toowoomba on the Darling Downs was opened.
For confidentiality reasons, the company prefers not to divulge its aggressive program over the next few years except to say that, for the moment, it prefers to establish its growth internally.
However, the company is keen to discuss all opportunities and is interested in acquiring existing baby business should they fit the right profile.
Additionally, the company will look at the possibility if licencing certain areas provided the applicants are financially strong and have a track record in retailing.
